The City of Monterey Park's One Stop Building Permit Center is a single place for applicants to submit building permits, plans and coordinate their construction projects.

About the Division

The Building and Safety Division is established pursuant to the mandate of California Health and Safety Code to facilitate the city's development in a fashion that offers reasonable protection to lives and properties. This objective is achieved through implementation of the mandatory minimum building standards in the permit and inspection process. The Building and Safety Division strives to provide efficient and effective processing of development projects through the City's One-Stop Building Permit Center.
