Divisions and Organizational Structure
The Monterey Park Fire Department consists of 55 sworn personnel and a total of 12 civilian staff. Our organizational structure consists of 5 Divisions, each with their own responsibilities.
- Administration - Administration, EMS/Tac Medical, Technology and Communications
- Operations - Stations, Apparatus, and Tools/Equipment
- Training - In-Service, Recruit Training, and Urban Search and Rescue
- Community Risk Reduction - Disaster Management, Emergency Operations Center, CERT and Community Outreach
- Fire Prevention and Code Enforcement
Each Division is supervised by a Battalion Chief, who reports directly to the Fire Chief.
