The City of Monterey Park and the Monterey Park Business Alliance (MPBA) is launching a new initiative, “In The Game MPK,” designed to help local small businesses secure contracts related to the upcoming 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. The program will educate business owners on the scope of procurement opportunities available, provide hands-on training for competitive bidding, and assist with obtaining certifications like Minority- and Women-Owned Business status. The goal is to connect local businesses directly with Olympic contractors and supply chains, ensuring they are well-prepared not only for the 2028 games but also for future large-scale events.
