Let the hunt begin! On Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 4–7 p.m., the City of Monterey Park Recreation and Community Services Department will host the MPK Spring Egg Hunt at Barnes Park. Attendees will enjoy free carnival games, pictures with Peter Rabbit and massive age group egg hunts.
Little Bunnies (0-3 years old) will have an egg hunt available from 4:30–6 p.m. in the patio area between the Barnes Park gym and tennis courts.
Big Hoppers (4 years and up) can hunt for eggs with their age groups at their respective times: 4–6 years at 5 p.m.; 7–9 years at 5:45 p.m.; and 10–12 years at 6:30 p.m. out on the Barnes Park ballfield.
In total, over 10,000 eggs will be spread out throughout the event. All of the eggs will contain a prize — and some eggs will contain grand prizes. Grand prizes may include a Bazic Products gift basket, Robux, V-bucks, gift cards and more!
Before and after the egg hunts, attendees can play carnival games for candy and prizes, or visit Peter Rabbit to take a photo with their camera.
The egg hunts and activities are free and do not require registration. Various food trucks and the weekly Farmers’ Market will also be on site for those looking to grab a bite to eat. Special thanks to our sponsors TransTech and Bazic Products for their contributions to this event!
