The City of Monterey Park Public Works Department is responding to a water main break in the 1600 block of Mira Valle Street, near Repetto Dr. The incident was reported at approximately 12:00 p.m.
Upon notification, City crews responded immediately and were able to shut off the water within 10 minutes to minimize water loss and impacts to the surrounding area.
Repair crews are currently on site and actively working to restore service as quickly and safely as possible. Repairs are expected to take no more than five hours.
