Every September, the Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library joins the American Library Association and libraries around the county to remind everyone that the most valuable card around is a public library card.
Residents of all ages are encouraged to celebrate Library Card Sign-Up Month by visiting the Library and discovering the wealth of resources available to them. Whether you're looking to enhance your skills, find valuable information, or connect with fellow avid readers, a library card unlocks a world of possibilities.
Today’s libraries are vibrant community centers offering much more than just books. At the Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library, you'll find diverse programs, job search assistance, homework help, book clubs, author talks, story times, and more. There’s something for everyone, and signing up for a free library card is the only cost of admission.
During the month of September, the Library is pleased to offer free replacement library cards to existing cardholders. If your card is lost, damaged, or simply needs updating, visit the Library’s Circulation Desk to receive a new card at no cost.
