The Recreation and Parks Commission will consist of five members plus ex officio member(s) as approved by the city manager or it’s designee. Regular members cannot hold any paid office or employment in the city government. The commission advises the city council on all matters pertaining to parks, parkways and recreation. Further, they coordinate city recreation programs with those offered by other governmental agencies and voluntary organizations. The Alhambra Unified School District Representative is Robert Gin.
