Commercial & Roll-off Service

The city has an exclusive franchise for all commercial and temporary trash collection services. Before going to the landfill, all of the city's waste is taken to a centralized processing facilities for the recovery of recyclables. Requirements

The city requires all businesses to subscribe to a minimum level of trash collection service. Athens will try to set up share accounts for small businesses but this type of arrangement may not always be possible. Athens bills directly for trash collection services.
