State, County, and Regional Partners

Amber Grant
The Amber Grant supports women entrepreneurs, offering financial support and recognition to women-owned businesses. Each month, the $10,000 Amber Grant winner qualifies for the year-end grant of $25,000.
Freed Fellowship Small Business Grant
A small business owner can receive a $500 micro-grant from the Freed Fellowship each month. Monthly grant recipients are also eligible for a $2,500 annual grant. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
EmpowHER Grants
Female small-business owners who are at least 22 years old may be eligible for an EmpowHER grant from Boundless Future Foundation. Your business must have been established within the last three years to be eligible. Grant funding is awarded as reimbursement of up to $25,000 for business-related expenses. Applications are accepted quarterly.
Verizon Small Business Digital Ready Grants
Verizon Small Business Digital Ready is a free online platform designed to help small businesses navigate the challenges of the digital world. The program provides over 40 online courses covering digital marketing and e-commerce, access to one-on-one personalized coaching from experts, and eligibility for grants of up to $10,000.
NASE Growth Grant
The NASE Growth Grant presents a significant opportunity for small business owners aiming to advance their enterprises. This grant offers up to $4,000 to assist with funding essential projects, ranging from marketing initiatives to equipment upgrades. By utilizing this resource, entrepreneurs can address critical needs and accelerate their business development.
California State Trade Expansion Program
The California State Expansion Program (STEP) grant offers financial assistance to eligible California small businesses seeking to expand into foreign markets through STEP Events and Export Vouchers. Each federal fiscal year, eligible businesses can participate in up to two (2) STEP Events. Additionally, they have the opportunity to be reimbursed for up to 75% of their export promotion expenses, with a maximum award amount of $10,000 through the Export Voucher.
Small Business Micro Loans
The Local Initiatives Support Corporation Los Angeles’s (LISC LA) program called Asset Building for Communities of Color (ABC) creates pathways for small business owners in communities of color across Los Angeles County to grow, scale, create jobs, and fuel wealth creation. LISC LA, through a collaboration with Inclusive Action for the City, a nonprofit organization, provides eligible business owners with flexible, low-cost financing ranging from $5,000 to $30,000. LISC LA is specifically allocating this fund to support the acquisition of machinery, equipment, and inventory, thereby facilitating business growth and economic empowerment within the community.
Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz)
GO-Biz serves as the State of California's leader for job growth, economic development, and business assistance efforts. They offer no-cost consultation for identifying business incentives, site selection, regulatory or permitting compliance assistance, foreign direct investment, and export assistance.
Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC)
LAEDC's Business Assistance Program offers confidential, free-of-charge consulting to small and large businesses across all industry sectors and business types. They help businesses overcome challenges to sustain, grow, and hire. Their Business Assistance team is ready to assist you in overcoming and resolving challenges, assist with new opportunities, and help you grow your business in Monterey Park.
Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program
Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program provides business education, support services, and pathways to capital for growth-oriented entrepreneurs. Goldman Sachs partners with Community Development Financial Institutions and other mission-driven lenders to expand access to capital for small businesses.
Pacific Asian Consortium in Employment (PACE)
PACE is a nonprofit organization that provides small business training, technical assistance, counseling, and access to capital.
Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
Small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs can go to the SBDC for free face-to-face business consulting. They help startups from ideation to fundraising, assist business owners with the creation of jobs through capital infusion, and provide high-quality business and economic development assistance to small businesses and entrepreneurs.
Small Business Administration (SBA)
The SBA makes it easier for small businesses to get funding and assists in planning, launching, managing, and growing your business.
Transitional Subsidized Employment (TSE)
Provides entry-level workers for your business whom you do not have to pay wages, at 30-40 hours per week, for three months.
California Workforce Investment Board (CWIB)
CWIB helps you team with the state to create employee training programs and offer incentives tailored to retain your workforce.
Employment Training Panel (ETP)
The ETP provides funding to employers to assist in upgrading the skills of their workers through training that leads to good-paying, long-term jobs.
Small Business Innovation Research Program (SBIR)
SBIR helps your small business reach its potential by offering incentives to bring your technological innovations to the market through the commercialization of your research.
Small Business Resource Center for the 50+
This nonprofit organization offers information, education, and resources for aspiring entrepreneurs and established business owners.
Southern California Edison (SCE) Small Business Incentives

SoCalGas Small and Medium Business Incentives
SoCalGas offers an array of energy efficiency programs to small and medium businesses as part of its commitment to exceptional customer service.
