Community Development Posted on February 16, 2026 | Last Updated on February 23, 2026

One of the newest additions to Monterey Park’s dining scene, La Diosa de los Moles recently celebrated its grand opening with a festive ribbon-cutting ceremony, welcoming neighbors, local leaders, and fans of Michelin-recognized Chef Rocío Camacho. Located at 1965 Potrero Grande Dr #A, Monterey Park, CA 91755, the restaurant brings bold, authentic flavors to the community. Known as the Mole Goddess, Camacho shares her vibrant personality and deep love for traditional Mexican cuisine with every guest who walks through the door.

Her specialty is mole — Mexico’s famously complex sauce — and she offers several varieties crafted from dozens of ingredients like dried chiles, nuts, seeds, fruit, and spices. From smoky mole Oaxaqueño to chocolate-kissed mole Poblano and her creamy pistachio mole, each one is rich, layered, and full of history. Sampler plates and picaditas make it easy (and fun) to try a few at once.

Originally from Huajuapan de León, Oaxaca, Camacho began her culinary journey in Los Angeles and worked her way up to become a celebrated chef and restaurateur. Many of her recipes are family treasures passed down through generations, and that tradition shines through in every dish.

Alongside her signature moles, the restaurant serves Mexican favorites and vegan options in a colorful, welcoming space filled with festive décor. With its recent ribbon cutting, La Diosa de los Moles is already becoming a warm and flavorful gathering spot in Monterey Park — go check them out if you haven’t yet! Yelp
