Math Clinic, located at 222 W. Garvey Ave. Suite L in downtown Monterey Park, has been a community staple since the 1990s. Under the leadership of Ms. Apple, who took over in 2016, the clinic has evolved into a year-round program serving students from Transitional Kindergarten to Grade 12. Ms. Apple’s mission is to foster academic excellence, build community, and inspire a lifelong love of learning.

Beyond homework help, Math Clinic offers enriching activities like cooking, art, and debate. During the summer, students enjoy hands-on science experiments, Spanish lessons, and fun field trips, giving them unique learning experiences.

Each day at Math Clinic is different, from casual breaks with foosball to engaging presentations by visiting educators. Ms. Apple sees these moments as opportunities for students to grow both academically and personally in a dynamic, supportive environment. 

Fun fact: Math Clinic recently received the most nominations and won the "Favorite Service Provider" award at the City of Monterey Park’s Community Choice Awards, cementing its positive impact in the community.  www.mcinstitution.org
