Vinh T. Ngo is a Senior Vice President, Risk Executive responsible for Bank of America’s commercial real estate portfolio spanning from Chicago to the West Coast. Vinh joined the Bank in 1996 after graduating from the University of Southern California with dual degrees in Accounting and Real Estate Finance.
Vinh’s leadership within the Bank includes:
- Advisor for the Leadership Development Program - Mentoring program at the Bank.
- Chair Emeritus for the Asian Leadership Network (having served as co-chair 2010-2011), an Employee Network that focuses on Associate career development and community outreach with more than 2,000 Associates.
- Prior Co-chair (2015-2024) of the Greater Los Angeles Asian Business Council focusing on Asian business integration.
Vinh is an active community leader through his volunteer services. He is a Council Member/Past Mayor for the City of Monterey Park having been elected in November 2022 to the Monterey Park City Council, District 5 on a four-year term. Vinh served on the Garvey School District Board from 2017 to 2022 and was a two term President. He is the current Board President of the Garvey Education Foundation which raises money for local school activities benefiting students and teachers. Vinh is also the Immediate Past Chair/Chair Emeritus of the Chinatown Service Center which provides health and social services for the low-income community in Southern California.
Since 2008, Vinh has continuously earned The President’s Volunteer Service Award, volunteering over 500 hours annually. Vinh received the prestigious Bank of America Global Diversity and Inclusion Award for his positive impact in the workplace and in the community in 2016, and the Golden Apple Award in voluntary services in Education in March 2023.
