Herstory 2: The Legal History of Chinese American Women Exhibition

Patrons are invited to view the traveling exhibition, Herstory 2, which chronicles the legal struggles of ordinary Chinese American women fighting in various U.S. courts for their rights going back to 1874.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Clinic

Now Accepting Walk-Ins Starting March 2, 2023. Note: All walk-ins must bring tax documents such as W2s, 1099-MISC, bank statements, etc. Individuals or families whose income is less than $60,000 are invited to participate in Chinatown Service Center’s free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Clinic every Thursday until April 6. This program helps U.S. residents or legal Green Card holders prepare their 2022 federal and state income tax returns. For more information call Adult Services or visit the Library website.
