Barnes Park measures approximately 11 acres, and is located at the heart of Monterey Park. This park features a community center, basketball gym, amphitheater, sheltered picnic pavilion, lighted softball field, tennis/pickleball courts, fitness court and children's play area. Barnes Park is within walking distance of City Hall, the Library, and the Police and Fire Departments. Picnic pavilions are available for reservations.
Barnes Park is open daily from 6:00AM - 10:00PM.
The newly renovated Barnes Park Picnic Shelters features approx. six reservable sections for groups up to 40 people per shelter with access to water, electricity and barbeques.

Alcoholic beverages are prohibited at all parks.Parking
There is plenty of street parking, as well as a dedicated parking lot.Reservations
Picnic reservations can be made up to 90 days in advance.Rules and Regulations
Pavilions are reservable by the day and cost $112.53 per shelter (Residents), and $132.99 per shelter (Non-Residents).
