Beginning April 6, children ages 0-13 can participate in the Read & Ride Reading Program. Children who read for four hours will earn a free ride ticket to be used at the City of Monterey Park Play Days carnival. The program ends May 6.
NOW EXTENDED TO APRIL 30! Individuals or families whose income is less than $69,000 are invited to take part in Chinatown Service Center’s free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) clinic. This program helps US residents and Green Card holders prepare their 2025 federal and state income tax returns.
The program is held in the Library Computer Lab, with sessions available February through April 30 on the following days:
