Starting June 1, children (ages 0-12), teens (ages 12-18) and adults (ages 18 and older) are invited to participate in the Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library’s 2024 Community Reads Summer Reading Program. Children, teens and adults can track their reading throughout the summer to earn prizes, as well as enjoy special programming, including crafts, performances, film screenings and author talks.
To participate in the summer reading program, participants will register on Beanstack. Adults, teens and children can track their hours reading, listening to audiobooks and participating in Library activities to earn virtual badges, win prizes such as free books and enter the drawing for the grand prize of their choice.
The program runs through July 31 and is sponsored by the Friends of the Monterey Park Library and the Monterey Park Library Foundation.
