The Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library will host its first ever K-Prom for teens on Saturday, May 11 from 6 - 8 p.m. in the Friends Room. Teens ages 14-18 are invited to dress in their fanciest outfit or costume and head to the Library for Korean snacks, games and K-pop! Teens will also enjoy a screening of Subtle Asian Book Club’s conversation with Kat Cho, author of Once Upon a K-Prom. After the screening, lucky winners will receive a copy of Once Upon a K-Prom. The 2024-25 Junior Friends Board and the Junior Friend of the Year will also be announced at the event.
