Children age 6-12 are invited to design a card just for kids, while teens and adults can enter the competition for the adult card. Share your best design; one entry per person.
When creating your design, you may consider what you love about Monterey Park, what libraries mean to you, a beloved book, or how the library enhances community connections. Winning designs will be selected based on creativity, artistic expression, and the message communicated.
- Participants must reside or go to school in Monterey Park.
- All artwork must be the original work of the artist and can be created digitally or by hand on the entry sheet.
- No use of trademarked characters or logos is allowed.
- Winners will be announced on April 7, 2024, in celebration of National Library Week.
- Completed entry forms may be returned to the Circulation Desk or emailed with “Contest” in the subject line.
- Digital designs must be high resolution, at least 600 ppi, and the following design formats will be accepted: jpeg, png, ai, eps, psd, and pdf.
- Entries will be accepted January 16-31.
