Her exhibit of tea cups and mugs celebrates the importance of tea in society and culture. “By carving and functional designing mugs and tea cups with clay, I love to express the fun in drinking coffee or tea, “ says the artist, a member of the Taiwanese American Art Association. Ms. Weber has exhibited her work at the Irvine Fine Arts Center, Whittier Art Gallery, and Chinese Culture Centers. Her art work has received several awards which includes an Honorable Mention Award at the Irvine Art League Juried Show and an All Media Show Award. She enjoys participating in art shows with the Taiwanese American Art Association which works to promote and enrich the fine art culture and environment for Taiwanese-American artists living in the US and Taiwan and introduces and publicizes the members’ art works to Taiwanese-Americans as well as other communities.
