SAVE THE DATE--The Monterey Park Library Foundation will present, “A Tribute to the Women of Monterey Park,” a fundraising dinner on Friday, June 6, 2014 at Ocean Star Restaurant. The annual Foundation event will honor local Monterey Park women by recognizing community leaders in education, business, government, community services and the arts. Nominations will be taken for notable women in these five categories. One winner in each category will be announced in the May 2014 issue of Cascades and honored at the dinner.
