The library in partnership with Congresswoman Judy Chu and the CA State Controller’s Office will offer a Free Tax Preparation & Filing Day@ the Library on Wednesday, April 1 from 10:30 am -5:30 pm in the Computer Lab. This free service is available for people with household incomes of $53,00 or less through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. Appointments are required but walk-ins will be signed-in and assisted as slots are made available through cancellations or rescheduling. Walk-ins will be encouraged to wait in the computer lab for their appointment or asked to return back to the library for their scheduled time.
