Barnes Park Extended Day Care
Barnes Park Extended Day Care Afterschool Program for children ages 5 through 12 is a fully licensed facility serving the community for over 30 years and accepts programs including MAOF, DCFS, IILA, and more. Hours of operation are 1 pm to 6 pm and transportation is provided from several schools in Monterey Park; however limited spaces are available. The program offers homework assistance, nutritious snacks, outdoor play, and arts and crafts activities. Barnes Park Extended Day Care is currently accepting enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year, which operates from August 12, 2025 through May 28, 2026.
Tiny Tots Program
Our Tiny Tots Program offers a short morning session operating year-round for children ages 3 to 4.5 (must be potty trained) and provides a healthy and positive foundation to foster children's learning in socialization, responsibility, independence, and individuality. The curriculum promotes children's overall development and growth through weekly themes, independent play, group activities, songs, and more.
Kidventure Summer Camp
Kidventure Camp means exciting weeks of adventure and fun! The center provides a quality summer program for children ages 5 through 12 with a variety of activities such as arts and crafts, swimming, dress-up days, field trips, and much more. The summer camp program for 2025 operates from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning June 8 to July 31 with lunch and snacks provided. Registration opens April 13, 2026 at 9 AM.
